The Headship of Christ
We believe and acknowledge the rulership of Christ as the Head, Ruler, Benefactor and Savior of the church and all our activities are centered round Him. (Ephesians 1:22-23)

We believe that the bible is the inerrant and infallible Word of GOD. We believe it is profitable for teaching, rebuking, giving direction, and training and as such endeavor to teach it with accuracy and authority.

We believe that we were created to worship and manifest God’s praises. God created us in His own image and as such as are able to recognize His Supremacy and Worthiness. We believe therefore that He deserves our worship and praise simply because of who He is. (Romans 12:1-2)

Since God is a Person who interacts with His creation and more so with His children, we believe that prayer is a mandated and powerful way of not only interacting and talking to God, but also of releasing power to accomplish God’s Kingdom purposes on the earth. We at Salt and Light church therefore rely on prayer in all our planning, strategizing and implementation of the Kingdom agenda.

At Salt and Light church, we believe in the institution of marriage as God’s idea. We therefore look to God’s Word and principles when dating/courting, and the marriage life. We believe that marriage is ordained by God between the man and the woman to reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church and as such we have the responsibility to keep it holy, sanctified and bible-centered.
